Reading the Bible

The Bible is essential for knowing God and His will for our lives. Making God's Word our authority in every area is vital for defending against the many spiritual attacks facing Christians (1 Peter 3:15); reading the Bible as a congregation allows us to encourage and exhort one another through the selected reading. We urge you to allow God's Word to be the critic of the thoughts and intents of your heart (Hebrews 4:12-13) as you read and study through the Scriptures.
